Beautiful

I cannot rate this down. At all. The piano notes are beautifully placed, the strings in the background add an extra layer to the track and make it a lot more interesting. I would like to see this with some delay or reverb on the piano though, just to make the intro have a little bit more of a fill, but apart from that this track is FLAWLESS.

Great composition, great sounds, I love it!

thank you very much good sir:)

Dammit NG!

If you are wondering what the title is about, its about the fact that I've reviewed this 3 times and its always glitched up D:

Anyhow, I really like the sound of this, the adjustment on the lead before the kick is good, I think that more drums are needed, but as this song is still really short, I'm not going to mark you down for that.

However, the sidechaining sounds really good, but the lead and bass sound somewhat grainy when the kick comes in. I presume, you being an FL user, you use the fruity peak controller to sidechain? If not, then I suggest you learn how to, if you do, then maybe raise the decay a bit as this may be what causes the lead to go a little grainy.

But all in all this is a great- but very short- remix, and I really hope to see more from you Athens!

Long review time!

First of all, I felt a load of hype surrounding this track the second I saw that it was you making trance music, then I was worried that you'd miscatagorised it..

however, this is a really nice, but short, trance song. The piano is beautiful, the chorded melody is fantastic, kind of reminds me of American Dream by Jakatta, You've probably heard it before, but anyway, take a listen, you will notice simularities. However, I don't see this as a rip-off or stealing an idea, because its so original in its own rights. The drums were good, but I feel that the kick should be just a little louder, and I think there needs to be some sidechaining. I think that a higher bass may also compliment this track just as an undertone alongside the original.

Sweeps are in order as well, as they really add to buildups/breakdowns. Layering sounds is another good idea for this track, maybe layer another sound over the piano melody, which again, sounds fantastic.

I know that I went a little critical there for such a great track, so I'll get back to the greatness by saying that the synth that came in during the middle was just... wow.

I wish this review could be longer, but the only way it would be would be for you to make this into a full length song.

Great job Envy!

Cmon guys, stop arguing and enjoy the song

Sounds great envy, awesome sound at 40 seconds in, really nice wobble on that lead, and the piano is awesome as well. I'm expecting big things for this one. It sounds like you've got plans for this.

I hope that you don't end up doing what I do (make a great sound/ then get confused as to what do next)

Hands Up Trance

I think Hands Up is more a sub-genre of techno than trance.. I think things like Oceanlab and Aarmin Van Buurin are trance.. but no complaints from me really.

Nice happy melodies here, you did a pretty good job with this song, you might want to switch up the melodies a little maybe make it a little less repetetive in parts. The drum change in the middle was maybe a good place to add a new high melody.

Nice work with this!

oh wow, i hadn't looked at this song in a while, and there were three reviews!

Thanks for the advice, this is one of my first songs in FL Studio, so I can't do much. but thanks anyways :D

Really good track

Nice retrigger on the vocals on the start, great buildup and choice of sounds, the vocals themselves make the track sound awesome, really nice high synth lead and nice work with the whole of this track.

Don't think theres much more you can do to this track apart from add a couple more patterns on the chorus, but its still a really great track here.

Been far too long...

..since I last heard this song. I've had it on my phone for a year, and never was able to find it again, until today. This is the song that inspired me to write my track "long way from home". Its a beautiful peice, and its still stunning to me. Such a shame that it isn't longer, but oh well.

Still, I think you are a genius for writing this piece my friend. I can't do flash but I would like to collab with you at some point, I haven't made anything as good as this, but there aren't many people that have.

I know the feeling where you can't extend a track when you feel like you might ruin a perfectly good track, which has happened to me so many times before, its a horrible feeling, especially when it sounds as good as this does.

let me know about the collab stuff : )

Ignore the zero bombers.

I've got trolled too mate, no worries. They are just jealous.

Not too sure about the synth line used for kid cudis vocals, but I'm not too fussed.
This is a good remake, and I like the drumloop as well.

Good remake my friend, and remember &%*£ the haters!

Intelligent DNB

Similar to the sort of DNB I want to produce. Its nice and relaxing, the bass sounds great (nice and low). Nice relaxing drumloops as well.

Really nice arrangement in this song.

Fantastic song

Really nice piano sound in the start, accompanied by some great strings.

The bass comes in really unexpectedly, and I think it sounds amazing!

A faviroute from me, this one sounds great! Really nice blend of sounds!
