I heart 8-bit too! :D

Love the simple, but effective melodic layers. Like the kick and the clap sound, but it sounds awkward, like there is a clap before the clap and its actually quite a painful noise to listen to.

The synths are fantastic though, really like those!

i really don't know what i was thinking when i added these drums. maybe you'll like the new version better? thanks for your review man :)

Sounds pretty nice

The voice sounds midly autotuned. Not really T-Pain style, more like an audio program called melodyne. It might be the recording, or if you used an actual effect, then fine. But I thought your voice was fine without it in other songs.

The vocal harmonies and guitars both sound pretty nice though, nice drums, lyrics, just fix up the sound of the vocals: either take the autotune off, or fix the vocal recording, because you're good enough without it, and you're kinda dragging yourself down by using it.

PARAGON IS BACK! :D

Fantastic instrumentation as always, glad to see you've still got it after a long break, great nostalgic sound, and catchy as heck.

I can't point out any flaws. None whatsoever.

Perfect!

This is the sort of thing I expect from hip hop, not this radio bullcrap!

This is a really well composed song, the chimes are brilliant, the bass and drums all work together, only thing thats missing is rap vocals. The female singer is fantastic though, really really nice and chilled out to listen to. Kinda dreamy, in a way too. Glad to see hip-hops still alive!

Fav'd the song.

I thought I'd drop by again

Again, very good instrumentation. Your choice of sounds here are very good. In this one, the chord progression seems a little more normal, and the melodies fit a lot more. The volume still clips in places though, so just lower the volume on the master channel, boost the drum volume a little, because its almost impossible to hear the hi-hats in the background.

At 1:56 you need drums. No doubt about it after a buildup like that, there needs to be huge punchy kicks (not the fruit kick though, that thing kinda sucks) reverb snares, and a typical open hat.

This one is definatly an improvement from the first track. As I said before keep at it, play around with different sounds, add drums, a more solid bassline (3xosc with all the oscilators set on the far left setting with the "course" knob turned all the way down can make a really deep sine bass which adds more of a flow to the track)

Trance is definatly still alive!

The bass, drums, and melodies all go together fantastically. really nice blend of sounds. I think you've done a great job, can't really give much advice, except for working on the bit in the middle, the sound doesn't sound as good to me, and the flat/disharmonic notes in it don't really fit. Don't know if thats part of the original.

Either way this was a fantastic trance piece, really nice to listen to!

Very nice.

The vocal slicing in the beginning sounds quite nice. The background synth sounded pretty good as well, but might have been a good idea to adjust the cutoff on it a little earlier in the track, rather than spanning the automation clip over a minute. The kick is nice and punchy, and goes well with the vocals, but I think extra synth patterns are needed around the whole thing just to make it a little less predictable and easy to listen to.

Still, it sounds like a good remix to me, but theres room for improvement on this track, and I know I prefer some of your other tracks to this.

Nice

The strings sound nice, the guitar sounds really nice. The drumloop isn't too loud, and is well put together. The trumpets and bass go together really well. My only worry is the simplicity of the chord progression in the string, try going for something a little more complex next time perhaps.

Even so, the melody changes throughout the entire piece and the composition on the whole makes this a great track.

Nice job.
