F2P games have downsides.

Continuing with my ongoing and ever-gowing list of games that I get pissed off with, you can sort of add League of Legends to that ever growing list, and I hate it for the fact I feel shameful of bieng a fan of it.

Now as a game LoL stands pretty solid (barring the fact it's abbreviation is the same as that of a phrase frequently spammed by 12 year olds over the dreaded social networking site "Facebook"), but bieng a multiplayer-only game certainly has its limitations, and it kinda has the same problem of elitism (or as I call it, retardedness) that Call of Duty and Battlefield has, perhaps moreso. Only real difference between CoD elitests and LoL ones is that the word faggot is rarely seen on LoL.

LoL like a large amount of other PC games is multiplayer only, so of course it's always expected to have issues tying into that multiplayer, but it honestly runs as smoothly as a lubed up penguin sliding across the artic ice, whilst Japanese scientists fire rockets from its arse. Theres the occasional bit of lag, but thats nothing to the metaphorical fart-blasting penguin, just small bits of turbulance.

What does kill the game though is certainly the retardedness of its user base. People on this game tend to just decide they're in charge and everyone else must suck upon their almighty virtual dick. If something goes wrong, its never their fault, EVER. Just blame it on the nearest individaul and hope their ego doesn't get hurt. Other games have this, and always will do, but LoL seems to be an online dating service for socially handicapped arseholes. The same way Blizzard games are, but with more emphasis on wiping the arsewipes' arses.

I feel the same issue can be applied to Tribes: Ascend, though its much less frequent, everyone instead just plays the defensive classes on offense and vice-versa. Super Monday Night Combat is similar, but I feel lacks the range of classes LoL does, even if everyone is slightly more social.

I don't know why I'm doing this. I think by now everyone and their mothers have realised the problems with these, but sod it. My boredom has been unleashed and removed. Now back to bieng bitched at by 12 year olds.
